I grew up on a small cattle ranch in Montana.  After graduation from high school, I immediately started college in Denver at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, graduating in 1991 with an Associates degree in Veterinary Science.

Since that time, I have lived all over this great country, working for two Board Certified Veterinary Surgeons, an exotic veterinary practitioner, and as the Director of a Veterinary Assistant program for a college in Phoenix, Arizona.

I have received my Washington State, Massachusetts, and Arizona certifications and became a member of several veterinary technician societies. In the most recent years, I have received a BS in Veterinary Science.

My family includes Ceaser, a Lab/Great Dane mix; Sylvester, a kitten she found in a trash bin; my son, Max; and dashing husband, Don.
