I have been with SouthCare Animal Medical Center since June of 2004.  I feel truly blessed to be able to say that I LOVE my job!  My passion for learning and for helping others is part of what makes being a Licensed Veterinary Technician the perfect career for me!  There will always be more to learn, and the feeling of befriending clients with their furry loved ones is absolutely irreplaceable!  Another reason I am blessed is that I’ve found a place of work where the coworkers feel more like family.
     As for my other family (the one that I can’t wait to see at the end of each day), I have an amazing husband named Brian and two furry children.  Rascal was the first addition to our family. She’s a crazy calico cat whom we found in the woods when she was about 6 weeks old.  Now she’s getting a bit older and she tries, on a daily basis, to convince us that she’s a princess!  Rascal has a love/hate relationship with our beloved pup.  Mini is a lab/mastiff mix who has eaten way too many things that were never intended to be ingested by a dog! She’s a sweet pup who is great at keeping us on our toes.  Our extra-curricular activities include basically anything that involves sunshine and the great outdoors.  We love to take road trips, camp, kayak, bicycle, and, my favorite, lounge around at the beach!  Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better… I hope to see you and your pets at our clinic sometime soon!
